I liked this movie. I laughed a lot (including sometimes when I was the only one in the theater laughing). I cried a little. It made me think and broke the tiniest bit of my heart.
2 warnings though:
1) There are a couple awkward scenes. I told my mom I wouldn't recommend it to her and my dad. [Plus my friend saw this with his family, and he confirmed to me it was pretty uncomfortable watching this with his mom]
2) The music is usually pretty awful. I mean, seriously.

I wish I would have read your comments before I watched the movie with my mom! It was totally akward - especially when she repeated what they said and then asked if she heard it right.
Good movie.
